    As Lead Data Scientist & AI Engineer at Ritech International AG, I led AI and machine-learning work for logistics operations connected to Maersk, one of the world's largest shipping and logistics companies. The system used real-time computer vision to support monitoring and optimization of container unloading and docking workflows. It started in California and later expanded to additional U.S. operational sites in Georgia and Virginia.

Too many AI projects stop at the demo stage. My work is getting them into production, where they actually create value.

I am a Principal AI/ML Engineer, data science leader, lecturer, researcher, and entrepreneur based in Tirana. For more than 12 years, I have worked across industry and academia, leading AI and data science initiatives in enterprise logistics, recruitment intelligence, legal AI, public-sector document intelligence, energy forecasting, and applied machine learning research.

My background combines production AI delivery with academic depth. I studied Mathematics and Informatics Engineering at the University of Tirana and defended my doctoral thesis on Optimization Methods for Machine Learning Applications at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Since 2014, I have taught Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Algorithms, and Applied Mathematics at university level.

In industry, I have led AI/ML work for global projects including logistics computer vision, recruitment automation, GenAI/RAG systems, forecasting, optimization, and document intelligence platforms. My focus is the full path from idea to production: data, architecture, models, evaluation, deployment, adoption, and measurable business impact.

As Co-Founder and CEO of AI Hub Albania, I work to strengthen the country's AI ecosystem through education, applied projects, public initiatives, and collaboration between companies, universities, institutions, and emerging AI talent.

I don't build AI because it is fashionable. I build systems that solve real problems.
